KCdesi is proud to highlight our Community Partner, Asha for Education – Kansas City, as they host their annual “Run to Educate” 5K/10K on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Heritage Park in Olathe. This exciting community event combines fitness, fun, and purpose—empowering underprivileged children in India with the gift of education.

A Morning of Fitness and Giving Back

Whether you’re a runner, walker, or simply looking for a family-friendly activity, this event has something for everyone. Children, parents, and friends are encouraged to participate and make it a memorable day. The highlight of the morning is the “Education Mile”, where families can run or walk together to create an inspiring finish.

Race Details

• Distances Offered: 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles)

• Start Time: 9:00 AM for 10K, 9:30 AM for 5K

• Location: Heritage Park, Shelter 1, 16050 Pflumm Rd, Olathe, KS

• Registration Fees: $25 for adults (5K), $35 for adults (10K), $15 for kids ages 5–12

All participants will receive a T-shirt, finisher medal, and enjoy a post-race Indian breakfast. Bibs and T-shirts can be picked up on October 9–10 at Kushi Restaurant, Overland Park.
