ABKC Sangam Celebrates 30 Years with Grand Durga Puja & Nandy Sisters Live Concert

This year marks a very special milestone for the Association of Bengalis Kansas City Sangam (ABKC Sangam) as they celebrate 30 years of community service with an extended four-day Durga Puja festival, filled with devotion, culture, music, and community spirit. As a KCdesi Community Partner, ABKC Sangam continues to bring the essence of tradition and festivity to Kansas City’s Indian diaspora.

Sangam Durgotsav 2025 – A 4-Day Grand Celebration

From Thursday, September 25 through Sunday, September 28, 2025, the Camelot Ballroom in Overland Park will come alive with the colors, sounds, and spirit of Durga Puja. Over the course of four exciting days, the venue will transform into a vibrant cultural hub, filled with traditional puja rituals, spirited cultural performances, mouthwatering food, festive vendor stalls, and joyous community gatherings. Families, friends, and community members of all ages will come together to celebrate heritage, devotion, and togetherness in a truly grand way.

Festival highlights promise to engage and inspire everyone in attendance. Signature events such as Dhunuchi Naach, Sindoor Khela, and musical evenings will be complemented by a variety of community-led programs that showcase both tradition and talent. From devotional performances to high-energy dance and music, each evening is designed to immerse attendees in the festive spirit of Durgotsav.

This year’s celebration is made even more accessible with flexible passes—ranging from single-day tickets to full four-day packages—ensuring that both families and individuals can enjoy the festival in a way that best suits their schedules. Whether you attend for one day or immerse yourself in the full experience, every pass guarantees an unforgettable celebration of culture and devotion.

Adding to the excitement, all passes include entry to the much-anticipated Nandy Sisters Concert, a musical highlight that promises to make this year’s Durgotsav even more memorable. With soul-stirring music, electrifying performances, and the warmth of the community coming together, this event is set to be the crown jewel of the celebration. Don’t miss the chance to be part of one of the most vibrant and joyous festivals in Kansas City.

Bollywood Dhamaka with the Nandy Sisters

As part of the Durgotsav festivities, the immensely popular Nandy Sisters will perform live at Olathe Northwest High School on Sunday, September 28, from 5 PM – 8 PM. Known for their electrifying Bollywood performances, the sisters promise an evening of high-energy music and entertainment.

Concert-goers can choose from a range of ticket tiers—from Regular ($39) to Premium, VIP, and VVIP options—ensuring an exciting experience for all. Lobby doors and food stalls by Chai Cafe open at 3:30 PM, giving attendees plenty of time to enjoy snacks and socialize before the show.

A Community Coming Together

For three decades, ABKC Sangam has nurtured the spirit of togetherness, cultural pride, and service among Kansas City’s Bengali and Indian communities. This 30th-year Durgotsav is more than a festival—it is a celebration of faith, heritage, and friendship.
